Two men are in hos­pi­tal un­der po­lice guard af­ter be­ing shot by po­lice in sep­a­rate in­ci­dents af­ter at­tack­ing law en­force­ment of­fi­cers.

In Port-of-Spain, po­lice ar­rest­ed a man and seized a loaded ri­fle af­ter he fired at of­fi­cers.
