PM plans further engagement with Delcy

PRIME MINISTER Kamla Persad- Bissessar says Trinidad and Tobago and Venezuela are preparing for further engagement following her meeting with acting Venezuela president Delcy Rodriguez in New York, USA.

This engagement involves reciprocal visits and delegations to pursue co-operation in trade, energy, culture and tourism.

Speaking with journalists on Thursday at Queen's Hall, St Ann's, following the annual Republic Day National Awards, Persad-Bissessar said she had invited Rodriguez to T&T, while the Venezuela president had invited her to Venezuela.
