THE withdrawal of United National Congress (UNC) Chaguanas West MP Dinesh Rambally as a candidate in the next general election has been called “childish” by Opposition Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar.
In a brief response to the Express yesterday, the UNC political leader said that “no one is surprised by this childish orchestrated plans to publicise these resignations every couple days in an attempt to damage the party ahead of the general election, to assist the People’s National Movement”.
Persad-Bissessar went on to state that “we were well aware of this plan and expect them to continue this ridiculousness”.
