A ST JAMES man has been sentenced to nearly 20 years in prison for the 2009 abduction, grievous sexual assault and rape of a 14-year-old girl.
Justice Kathy Ann Waterman-Latchoo imposed the sentence on 49-year-old Glenford King on Wednesday, following his guilty plea to the offences.
King initially pleaded not guilty, but after the prosecution opened its case on May 5, he chose to confess to committing the offences.
