Po­lice are await­ing the re­sults of an au­top­sy to de­ter­mine the cause of death of a one-month-old ba­by boy, who re­port­ed­ly had bruis­es on his body.

The in­fant was found un­re­spon­sive on Wednes­day at his fam­i­ly’s Ra­goo­nanan Road, Cunu­pia home and tak­en to hos­pi­tal.

Po­lice said of­fi­cers from the Cunu­pia Po­lice Sta­tion re­ceived a re­port of a sud­den death at the Ch­agua­nas Dis­trict Health Fa­cil­i­ty around 5 pm.
