Trinidad and Tobago sprinter Jereem Richards added another accolade to his growing career by securing the silver medal in the men’s 400 metres final at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, Japan, on Thursday.
The race was won by Botswana’s Busang Kebinatshipi, who clocked 43.53 seconds, while Richards followed closely behind with a time of 43.72 seconds, demonstrating remarkable speed and consistency.
Richards, known as “The Dream”, faced the starter at 9:10 a.m. T&T time in lane two, widely regarded as a challenging draw. Despite this, the 2022 world indoor 400m champion remained undeterred.
