The son of the owners of Stackhouse Co Ltd was found hanging at his Williamsville apartment on Tuesday.

Proprietor Truman Lochan Dass Jnr, 28, was last seen alive on Tuesday morning by a store manager who handed keys over to him.

Around 3 p.m. an 11-year-old tenant at the apartment went to retrieve laundry from a dryer when she saw Lochan Dass. A ladder was nearby. By phone, the child contacted Lochan Dass’ uncle who lives in the vicinity. He arrived, cut the rope and contacted the emergency health services. The district medical officer was also called the scene.
