Homicide officers brought Brandon Lalbeharry to the funeral of his 63-year-old Ramesh Lalbeharry on Saturday, moments before the deceased was laid to rest at a cemetery in Barrackpore.

Relatives looked on as officers, some in uniform and others in plain clothes, placed Lalbeharry’s son in handcuffs while the final rites were being administered and the coffin was being carried to the graveside.
