COMMUTERS using the Public Transport Service Corporation (PTSC) say problems with the bus service are not new but have worsened in recent weeks.
The Express spoke with several travellers yesterday just after 5 p.m., many of whom complained that the delays were placing a strain on their finances. Their comments came after PTSC advised commuters on Tuesday that delays were affecting several routes operating out of the Port of Spain depot as industrial activity by employees disrupted normal operations.
However, the Transport and Industrial Workers Union has rejected the corporation’s claims, instead citing health and safety concerns.
