āIf deĀfendĀing my forĀmer conĀstituents and speakĀing truth to leadĀerĀship makes me a poĀlitĀiĀcal outĀcast, so be it. Iād rather be called a āpoĀlitĀiĀcal vaĀgrantā by Sean Sobers than be anĀothĀer āyes manā clapĀping on cue while the UNC conĀtinĀues to deĀscend inĀto chaos,ā RagĀbir said yesĀterĀday via a meĀdia reĀlease.
RagĀbir, who was laĀbelled a ādisĀsiĀdentā afĀter chalĀlengĀing the leadĀerĀship of KamĀla PerĀsad-BissesĀsar, was reĀspondĀing to Sobersā inĀsultĀing deĀscripĀtion of him at last SatĀurĀdayās UNC meetĀing in Rio Claro. RagĀbir, who has since reĀsigned from the UNC, added, āI want to thank Mr Sean Sobers for reĀmindĀing meāyet againāwhy I stepped away from the UnitĀed NaĀtionĀal ConĀgress. The name-callĀing. The backĀbitĀing. The desĀperĀate need to imĀpress a failĀing cult leader inĀstead of servĀing the peoĀple. Itās all still alive and well.
