A 17-year-old boy has been held in connection with the alleged rape of a 22-year-old woman.

Due to the sensitive nature of the report, details which may identify the victim are being omitted.

The victim told police that at about 2 a.m. on Saturday she was at her home in Couva, when a man she knows for about one week arrived.
