Police are investigating a violent robbery and kidnapping that occurred yesterday morning in the Wallerfield area.
According to reports, a man delivering goods to a customer in his vehicle was approached inside a shop around 9:30 a.m. by an armed suspect dressed in a gray jumpsuit and mask. The assailant, armed with a small black revolver, announced a robbery.
The victim was forced to lie on the ground, blindfolded, and was then placed in the back seat of his vehicle, where his hands were bound. Four voices were reportedly heard inside the vehicle during the incident, one driving, one in the front passenger seat, and two in the back.
