Discussions aimed at empowering and supporting parents and care-givers were held on Friday during the National Parenting Seminar hosted by the Ministry of Homeland Security in collaboration with several stakeholders.
At the opening ceremony at the Bishop Anstey High School East Auditorium on Friday, Minister of Homeland Security Roger Alexander delivered a stark message to parents, questioning the state of society.
“Parents, have we, because of our behaviour, have we destroyed our society? Have we destroyed our children? Did we destroy our country?”
