Police are investigating a report of sexual assault in Port of Spain.

According to police, around 1 a.m. on Thursday, a 42-year-old woman, who has no fixed place of abode, was allegedly sexually assaulted against her will by a man known to her, at the residence where she had gone to seek shelter.

The suspect has been identified as a 46-year-old man of mixed descent, slim build, brown complexion, about five feet four inches tall, with neck-length greying cornrows, a full greying beard, small brown eyes and thin eyebrows.
