Kameel Seepersad, who in the past served in the United States military, was yesterday sentenced in relation to the 2016 killing of Rishi Sankar.
Sankar’s body, which bore chop wounds to the head, was found wrapped in cloth and plastic bags.
Seepersad, who was charged with murder, yesterday pleaded guilty to manslaughter, following plea discussions with the prosecution.
