Police are seeking the assistance of the public for the identity of the man who threw acid on a Rio Claro woman on Monday. 

The incident occurred on Naparima Mayaro Road near the taxi hub in Rio Claro during the after-work rush hour, when scores of commuters may have been passing by and witnessed the perpetrator escaping through the streets. 

Police have viewed closed cricuit television camera footage to find the man who threw acid on the 20-year-old victim in Rio Claro.
