Brandon Lalbeharry yesterday insisted there was no foul play and his dad fell from a coconut tree on New Year’s Day, even amid allegations on social media that he was involved in the death of his father.

Ramesh Lalbeharry died at hospital on Tuesday.

A social media post alleged that Lalbeharry, 63, was beaten at his Barrackpore home, following an argument. It was stated that he sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital two days after the incident.
