POLICE have launched an investigation following the discovery of skeletal remains in a forested area off Soriah Trace, Brazil Village.
The remains were found by a 60-year-old man on Friday, who later reported to police that while attending to his premises in the area around 3.30 p.m., he came across what appeared to be skeletal remains.
Acting on the report, Cpl Thomas, along with PCs Ramsingh and Shukla, went to the location to make inquiries. However, police said upon their arrival, the officers were unable to locate the remains because of poor lighting conditions.
