A 43-year-old security guard is in stable condition after being stabbed multiple times during an altercation at Crown Point early Sunday morning.
Around 12:15 a.m. Andre Edwards, a security guard employed with MTS and stationed at Trinidad and Tobago Chicken Hut on Milford Road, was on duty when a man attempted to enter the establishment with an alcoholic drink in his hand.
Police said Edwards informed the man he could not enter with the beverage, and an argument broke out. The man left but returned shortly afterward, approached Edwards from behind, and a struggle ensued. The attacker then pulled a knife and stabbed Edwards several times.
