Kya Bovell to represent Guyana at Miss Essence and Mind international Swimsuit pageant in St. Maarten

(Kaieteur News) – Kya Amani Bovell is an inspiring young woman dedicated to education, advocacy, and public service. On October 3, 2026, she will represent Guyana at the Miss Essence and Mind International Swimsuit pageant in St. Maarten.

The Miss Essence and Mind pageant is a women’s empowerment platform dedicated to inspiring confidence, growth, and leadership through workshops, mentorship, pageantry, community outreach, and transformative experiences that help young women become their best selves.

To this end, 25-year-old, Kya Bovell holds notable accomplishments. She is a Medical Imaging Professional and a full-time Instructor at the University of Guyana and a small business owner. Kya also holds credit as an emerging public health researcher.
