An al­co­hol-fu­elled ar­gu­ment over a noisy fan led to a vi­o­lent out­burst in which a fe­male rel­a­tive fa­tal­ly stabbed 33-year-old Ker­ron Phillip at his Clax­ton Bay home ear­ly yes­ter­day morn­ing.

Phillip, a ma­son, of Di­a­mond Vil­lage, Clax­ton Bay, was stabbed once in the ab­domen with a knife, po­lice said.

Ini­tial re­ports stat­ed that on Mon­day night he was drink­ing and lim­ing with rel­a­tives in cel­e­bra­tion of his broth­er’s birth­day. Around 1 am, Phillip re­turned to home, which is lo­cat­ed next door, and got in­to an ar­gu­ment with the 36-year-old fe­male rel­a­tive over the noisy fan in the bed­room.
