Kerron Phillip, 33, of Diamond Village, Claxton Bay died at hospital hours after being stabbed by a female relative during an argument on May 27.
A relative told reporters the mason and his relative frequently argued. At 1 am, Phillip's eldest daughter, ten, ran to a nearby house and told the occupants that her father had just been stabbed.
An ambulance was called while other relatives attempted to tend to the man's wound. His mother, Joan Phillip, 62, said she ran across to her son's house to see what happened. He was the youngest of her children.
