(Kaieteur News) – 11-year- old Annabelle Outar is among the pupils who achieved top grades at the National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA) examinations. The pupil of Camille Academy Lusignan, East Coast Demerara (ECD) earned 479.91 marks at NGSA and was awarded a place at the St. Stanislaus College.
The lass also earned the 2nd highest score for her school, placing her among the top ten. She is also one of the top NGSA performers of Ms. Hadassah Payne, the school’s N.G.S.A Teacher of the year. Ms. Payne’s achieved 100% passes with her pupils performing 80% and above. Outar sang praises for her teacher.
She said “Ms. Hadassah taught us very well, she would breakdown the subjects making the terms simpler for us to understand. We also used a lot of text books which actually paid off.” She also praised her parents and tutors for their encouragement and help through her academic success.
