…urges students to dream bigger after record-breaking results
Following Friday’s release of the 2026 National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA) results, President Dr Irfaan Ali has extended congratulations to all the children who wrote the examination, reminding them that this is just the beginning of their journey to even greater success. In a video statement on Friday, the Head of State commended those students who emerged successful at this year’s NGSA.
“Your hard work, discipline, and determination have been rewarded, and you should be proud of what you have accomplished,” he said. For the first time in history, 20 pupils who sat the NGSA shared that top spot with a perfect score of 484.5. Additionally, this year’s examination also saw record improvements in all four subject areas. While the Head of State commended those who achieved outstanding results, President Ali reminded others that the NGSA is a stepping stone to an exciting new chapter with unlimited possibilities ahead.
