“An administrative glitch.”
That is how Minister of Finance Ryan Straughn has described unexpected increases on the 2026-2027 land tax bills received by owners of residential properties valued at more than $450,000.
During a media briefing this morning at the Barbados Revenue Authority’s Weymouth headquarters, Minister Straughn provided detailed information about the issue.
