National senior netball player Latanya Wilson says improved fitness and better execution will be crucial to the Sunshine Girls’ chances of success when they face rivals England in the four-match Horizon Series next month.
The Jamaicans will contest the opening two matches in London on November 21 and 22, before returning home for the final two games on December 5 and 6.
Wilson, who plays in Australia’s Suncorp Super Netball League with the Adelaide Thunderbirds, said the team has been working hard to improve its fitness following the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland, where Jamaica captured the silver medal.
