THE Government is considering a change in policy governing the distribution of units at Edinburgh Towers in Edinburgh 500, Chaguanas, says Housing Minister David Lee.
Speaking to reporters outside Parliament yesterday, he said discussions are ongoing with the Housing Development Corporation (HDC) board and the Ministry of the People, Social Development and Family Services. However, he declined to say what the possible changes would be.
In July last year, Family Services Minister Vandana Mohit, along with Lee, explained the units would be given to the disabled and the elderly.
