POLICE are investigating the discovery of a burnt body inside a vehicle along Moonan Road, Wallerfield, an area that has been the scene of several violent crimes in recent years.

The grim discovery was made on Sunday in the vicinity of Block 5, Moonan Road.

Investigators said the body, believed to be that of a man known by the alias "Milky", was found inside a burnt vehicle. The remains were later removed from the scene and are expected to be taken to the Trinidad and Tobago Forensic Science Centre, St James, where an autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
