When the mother of Mae-Cria Shamia Ramdeen received the news that her daughter was one of two fatalities in a vehicular accident early on Saturday, the pregnant woman had to be rushed to hospital.
Ramdeen, 21, and Ernest Nurse, both of El Socorro, San Juan, died at the scene of the crash.
The driver of the vehicle—Ramdeen’s husband Romel Villaruell —and another passenger were injured in the crash along the Uriah Butler Highway.
