One of the home invasion suspects hiding out in the bushes since three of his alleged accomplices were shot dead by police on Saturday morning, has been arrested.
Earlier today, three men suspected of being part of a group involved in multiple home invasions in the Cunupia/Longdenville areas were shot and killed by police as part of a law enforcement operation. A fourth was later shot and remains under police watch at a hospital, the Express was told.
Two men are in police custody, a senior police officer of the Central Division confirmed this afternoon. Up until 3p.m., the last suspect remained at large, Commissioner of Police Allister Guevarro warning residents to be vigilant. The Express understands that the man has however been caught by law enforcement a short while ago.
