KINGSTON, Jamaica — The People’s National Party (PNP) has expressed condolences to the Government and people of Colombia following a devastating earthquake that struck the country on Monday, resulting in loss of life, injuries and significant damage to communities.
In a statement, Opposition Spokesperson on Foreign, Regional and Diaspora Affairs, Senator Donna Scott-Mottley, expressed solidarity with the people of Colombia and families affected by the disaster.
“At this difficult moment, our thoughts are with the people of Colombia, particularly those who have lost loved ones, those who have been injured, and the families anxiously awaiting word on the safety of their relatives and friends,” Scott-Mottley said.
