KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaican recording artiste Cholita officially unveiled her debut extended play (EP), Broken Promises, on Friday evening during a launch event at Mezza Luna in Kingston, introducing a six-track project that explores heartbreak, healing and self-discovery.
The release marks a major milestone for the emerging singer, whose music has steadily gained traction both locally and overseas.
Anchoring the EP is Never Come Down, a collaboration with dancehall star Popcaan, while fellow deejay Skillibeng also makes a guest appearance on the project.
