A St Catherine man who was allegedly caught with an imitation firearm at his Spanish Town home has been granted $600,000 bail after his attorney argued that the weapon could not fire.
Jevaughn Uhuru, who is charged with possession of a prohibited weapon, appeared in the St Catherine Parish Court yesterday.
Attorney-at-law Davion Vassell successfully applied for bail, arguing that his client has a fixed place of abode and would comply with any conditions imposed by the court.
