A 43-year-old man, acÂcused of physÂiÂcalÂly and verÂbalÂly asÂsaultÂing a nine-year-old boy in a video that surÂfaced onÂline, has been grantÂed bail set at $20,000 with sureÂty or $10,000 cash.
KerÂvon Noel apÂpeared beÂfore MasÂter KimÂiÂtria Gray in the South MasÂter Court A, charged with one count of cruÂelÂty to a child. One of the conÂdiÂtions of his bail is that he reÂfrain from any diÂrect or inÂdiÂrect conÂtact with the child unÂless auÂthoÂrised and suÂperÂvised by the ChilÂdren’s AuÂthorÂiÂty.
He has alÂso been orÂdered to reÂport to the MoruÂga PoÂlice StaÂtion three times a week—MonÂdays, WednesÂdays, and FriÂdays. The prosÂeÂcuÂtion recÂomÂmendÂed a sumÂmaÂry triÂal, but Noel was not asked to enÂter a plea durÂing the hearÂing.
