CHARGED with cruelty to a child, Kervon Noel will only be allowed contact with the eight-year-old alleged victim through permission and supervision by the Children's Authority.
Noel, 43, of Marac Village, Moruga appeared before master Kimitria Gray in the San Fernando Court yesterday. He was placed on the $20,000 bail with a cash alternative of $10,000, with the conditions that he reports to the Moruga Police Station three times a week and have no direct or indirect contact with the child unless it is permitted and supervised by the Children's Authority.
During the court appearance, Noel was not called upon to plead to the charge laid by constable Crawford from the Special Victims Department. The matter, prosecuted by constable Basdeo, was transferred to the Princes Town District Court for March 17.
