The fam­i­ly of a La Ro­main painter who was mur­dered fol­low­ing an al­ter­ca­tion on Sun­day night is call­ing for jus­tice.

Zaid Mo­hammed, 31, of Pond Street, La Ro­main, was beat­en and stabbed, his fam­i­ly said.

Ear­li­er that night, he had an al­ter­ca­tion with his girl­friend at a bar over two men who were “in­ter­fer­ing” with her. Less than 20 min­utes lat­er, he was dead.
