More than a month afÂter Samuel MonÂtano and his girlÂfriend, ZaÂheeÂda MoÂhammed, vanÂished from MonÂtano’s home, leavÂing beÂhind a grueÂsome scene of blood and bulÂlets, a relÂaÂtive says she is disÂsatÂisÂfied with how the poÂlice are hanÂdling the case.
While inÂvesÂtiÂgaÂtions are onÂgoÂing, the relÂaÂtive, who reÂquestÂed anonymiÂty, said inÂvesÂtiÂgaÂtors still could not furÂnish them with any inÂforÂmaÂtion about their disÂapÂpearÂance or whether the bulÂlets with TTPS markÂings found at the crime scene were genÂuine poÂlice amÂmuÂniÂtion.
MonÂtano, 44, and MoÂhammed, 36, were last seen by a relÂaÂtive on AuÂgust 2. The folÂlowÂing mornÂing, a relÂaÂtive went to MonÂtano’s home at SunÂset Cove ExÂtenÂsion in La RoÂmain to visÂit them, but inÂstead she saw blood on the floor and sheets, with a trail leadÂing from the house to the nearÂby shoreÂline. There were alÂso sevÂerÂal spent shells in the house. PoÂlice reÂcovÂered 23 spent shell casÂings, inÂcludÂing sevÂen with TTPS markÂings.
