Police are investigating a violent home invasion in Mon Repos on Tuesday night in which two sisters were robbed, and one was assaulted.
Around 8:45 p.m., sisters aged 61 and 52, were sitting in the living room of their mother’s home at Newbold Street, Mon Repos, when three men dressed in black and armed with guns entered through the open front door.
The men announced a robbery and pointed their weapons at the women. During the ordeal, one of the suspects struck one several times in the head, causing injuries.
