EIGHT-YEAR-OLD Gideon Smart did not get to live to ring in 2026.
The boy was tragically killed yesterday afternoon in Arouca when he was struck by a vehicle.
Police said that Gideon, who was home-schooled, was in the front yard of his home on Savannah Road Extension in Five Rivers when the incident occurred.
