FRIENDS and family of retired roti shop owner Durpatee Chance bade farewell to her as the last rites were performed at her funeral service and cremation on Tuesday.
Chance, affectionately called “Patty” by her family and friends, would have turned 65 next month.
The mother of four and grandmother of six was strangled and beaten to death in a bedroom of her home on Moruga Road last week during the ordeal which occurred in her family’s home on the night of February 19.
