Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar returned to Trinidad and Tobago overnight, leaving the 50th Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) in the hands of Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs Sean Sobers.
As a result, she did not attend a key leaders’ session in Saint Kitts and Nevis.
Earlier today, Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis Dr. Terrance Drew shared images from the meeting on social media, highlighting a retreat-style gathering in Nevis designed for candid and forward-looking discussions.
