A 50-year-old busiĀnessĀman from GoldĀen Grove, Canaan, has been fined $100,000 afĀter pleadĀing guilty to firearm and amĀmuĀniĀtion charges at the ScarĀborĀough MagĀisĀtratesā Court.
Nigel AnĀderĀson apĀpeared beĀfore SeĀnior MagĀisĀtrate AliĀcia Chankar on ThursĀday (March 19, 2026), where he adĀmitĀted to posĀsessĀing two reĀvolvers and twelve rounds of .38 amĀmuĀniĀtion.
The court heard that at apĀproxĀiĀmateĀly 3:25 am on DeĀcemĀber 14, 2020, ofĀfiĀcers atĀtached to the ToĀbaĀgo DiĀviĀsion Task Force, led by WPC Sgt. HarĀris, exĀeĀcutĀed a search warĀrant at AnĀderĀsonās home on GoldĀen Grove Road, Canaan. DurĀing the search, ofĀfiĀcers found one reĀvolver and six rounds of .38 amĀmuĀniĀtion in a livĀing room drawĀer.
