Fatal shooting in St Philip

One man is dead following an early morning shooting at Six Roads Development, St Philip, on Sunday.

Public Affairs and Communications Officer, acting Inspector Ryan Brathwaite, said the victim was sitting in the driver’s seat of a motor vehicle when a number of gunshots were discharged, striking him. He died at the scene and was pronounced dead by a medical doctor. The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m.

Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that could assist with investigations to contact Crime Stoppers at 1 800 8477, Police Emergency at 211, or the District C Police Station at 416 8200 or 416 8201. (PR)
