“ATTEMPTS to bully or intimidate me are not going to work.”
So said Independent Senator Courtney McNish yesterday, following a call by the United National Congress (UNC) Government that the independent bench throw support behind its Prime Minister’s Pension (Amendment) Bill 2025, which is to be debated today in the Upper House.
McNish and Independent Senator Anthony Vieira have since expressed the view that the UNC’s statements during its news conference yesterday were an attempt to bully the independent bench.
