RIVALDO LONDON proved water was thicker as he was crowned the 2026 Young King on Tuesday.
He won the competition which was hosted by the National Action Cultural Committee at the Queen’s Park Savannah, Port of Spain, with his song, “Water Thicker”, out of a field of 16 finalists.
In a phone interview yesterday, the 24-year-old Fyzabad native said he wrote the song to address the “bacchanal” between his uncle and fellow calypsonian Brian London and elder brother Ronaldo London, who became the 2019 National Calypso Monarch with his song, “Man’s Imagination”.
