A 40-year-old El So­cor­ro woman who was orig­i­nal­ly re­port­ed as hav­ing been ab­duct­ed is at home and in good health, a se­nior of­fi­cer in the Port of Spain Di­vi­sion con­firmed on Fri­day.

Po­lice said the in­ci­dent was orig­i­nal­ly re­port­ed as a kid­nap­ping by po­lice, but fur­ther en­quiries re­vealed that the cir­cum­stances be­hind the at­tack were dif­fer­ent than what was com­piled in the first po­lice re­port.

Ac­cord­ing to po­lice, the woman and a male rel­a­tive were dri­ven to an undis­closed lo­ca­tion on the Beetham Gar­dens at around 10.30 pm on Thurs­day, by one of the rel­a­tive’s co-work­ers.
