A 40-year-old El Socorro woman who was originally reported as having been abducted is at home and in good health, a senior officer in the Port of Spain Division confirmed on Friday.
Police said the incident was originally reported as a kidnapping by police, but further enquiries revealed that the circumstances behind the attack were different than what was compiled in the first police report.
According to police, the woman and a male relative were driven to an undisclosed location on the Beetham Gardens at around 10.30 pm on Thursday, by one of the relative’s co-workers.
