THE State was yesterday granted permission to reopen the case in which Commissioner of Police Allister Guevarro previously charged two men in relation to an alleged brothel.
The defence had strongly objected to the case being reopened, citing an attempt by the prosecution to introduce fresh evidence.
Senior magistrate Armina Deonarinesngh disagreed and ordered that the case be reopened and the information from Guevarro's pocket diary be disclosed.
