A BANDIT invaded the San Juan home of an 83-year-old woman on Tuesday, gagged her mouth, forced her into a bedroom and stole three cell-phones.

Police said that around 2.30 p.m. the lady was at her home in Broome Street, Petit Bourg in San Juan when the bandit walked into her living room while she was looking at TV.

He announced a robbery, held on to her and covered her mouth so as to not make a sound. She resisted however following which he forced her into a bedroom and locked the door. He then took a cellphone valued US$150, an IPad valued US$200, two Samsungs valued $600 each, $500 cash and three debit cards.
