Speak­ing dur­ing a pub­lic con­sul­ta­tion on the pro­posed stand-your-ground leg­is­la­tion at her con­stituen­cy of­fice in Pe­nal on Tues­day night, Per­sad-Bisses­sar, the Siparia MP, said the de­vice was an in­ex­pen­sive but ef­fec­tive tool for per­son­al safe­ty.
