Two years since sod-turning, Orealla Village still to get promised secondary school

(Kaieteur News) – Two years since the sod was turned for the construction of the Orealla Secondary School in Region Six, the residents of the Amerindian community is still awaiting the completion of the brand new building which was expected to be completed since last year.
Currently Orealla Village does not have a secondary school building, but a secondary department in the primary school where students receive their secondary education.
Kaieteur News reported that the government through the Ministry of Education initiated the construction of the first ever secondary school for the Village back in September 2024 when the sod was turned for this project.
